As a part of Digitize.PH’s launching, their aim was to release a working MVP of their first community application, BayanMo. We were tasked by Digitize to help them with the designing and development of the white label and initial working model of the app in time for the company’s presentation to local governments and its users.

In partnership with Digitize Philippines, we came up with the idea of creating a data analytics mobile and web application for local governments and their residents to use. Initially, the idea was to make the distribution of relief and monetary assistance easier and faster through accurate and real time data. This led to further improvements and evolved into an app that not only offers these solutions but will also make residents’ access to their barangays and LGUs easier and faster through their phones. This ranges from daily announcements, community boards, and LGU directory.
The Design
To pave way for LGUs to have freedom over the design of the app, the BayanMo is currently a white label, similar to Google’s. The initial app design is meant to be a working MVP for local governments to see the functionalities and be able to actually use it.
The User Interface Design of the app is simple, straightforward, and familiar to modern day users of mobile applications. This is a way to avoid confusion for users when accessing the app from the residents’ end.
